Three apps, one shared record.
Each person at a studio opens the app made for their job. All three read and write the same record of the enquiry, the agreement, the shoot and the delivery, so nothing is copied from one tool to another.
For studio owners
Studio
The owners’ app. Every enquiry, quote, agreement, project and payment, with the full picture of the money.
- A leads board where each enquiry carries its notes, calls, a day-by-day schedule and one quoted number.
- Proposals built from the quote, and agreements drafted from the accepted proposal.
- The owner’s counter-signature creates the project, with its days, deliverables and payment milestones.
- Each project holds its crew, travel, contacts, files and a full activity trail.
- Payment milestones, GST tax invoices, receipts, crew payouts and vendor bills.
- Team members, departments and roles, with a personal link for each person.
- A calendar of shoots, calls and delivery dates that can sync to Google Calendar.
- An audit log of studio-level changes that cannot be edited or deleted.
For crew, editors, creative heads, post-production, sales and finance staff
Team
One app for everyone who works with the studio. You sign in once; each person sees only the rooms their role opens, and the owner has a phone view of what needs a decision.
- Crew and editors: today’s call sheet, bookings to acknowledge, your schedule and travel, and a cut queue for editors.
- Leadership: the live shoot day with segments, shot ticks, check-ins and broadcasts. Operations only, no project finances.
- Post-production: the handoff, a two-date schedule for every deliverable, versions and client feedback, media custody and the archive.
- Sales and Finance rooms: the leads board, proposals and agreements; invoices, payments, receipts, payouts and GST and TDS worksheets.
- Everyone sees their own pay, invoices to the studio and reimbursements in one place, under My pay.
- A person working with several studios switches between them from the same app.
- The owner’s phone view lists what is waiting: bills to clear, reimbursements to approve, money clients say they sent, and invoices to mark received.
The Finance and Sales rooms are built for a desktop. The Content and Operations rooms are not built yet.
For clients and their families
Client portal
What the couple or client sees. One link for everything after the booking: the proposal and agreement they accepted, payments, reviews and the final files.
- A guided intake before the event: dates, places, people and what matters to them.
- The proposal and the agreement to read and print. An agreement added after the booking can be signed here.
- Payment milestones, invoices and receipts, with the studio’s bank and UPI details.
- Deliverables to review: open each cut, leave notes and approve the final.
- Final files stay locked until the studio releases them against the last payment.
- Each person the studio adds gets their own link, and the studio chooses what each one sees.
- After delivery, the portal becomes a keepsake page with the final links.
Rules the apps keep.
These hold in every app and for every studio. They are enforced in the software, not left to habit.
Nothing goes to a client on its own.
A proposal, an agreement or a link reaches a client only because a person at the studio chose to share it. Centra does not send email or WhatsApp itself yet.
The studio’s private read of a lead stays private.
How warm an enquiry is, and the internal notes on it, never reach a client’s screen.
Profit and cash stay with the owner.
Accounts staff see invoices, payments and payouts. Leadership and crew see the work and their own pay, and nothing else about the money.
The record of a job is kept.
A lead, a project, an agreement, an invoice or a payment is never erased from inside the apps. It changes status instead. The activity trail can only be added to.
The assistant never changes a record on its own.
It drafts and looks things up, and anything it would save waits for a person to confirm. The one place it speaks to a client directly is the guided intake, where it words the questions. A studio can switch that off.
Not built yet.
These are planned and are not in the product today. If one of them decides it for you, wait for it.
- Sending email and WhatsApp messages
- Centra does not deliver messages yet. A person shares the link or the message themselves.
- Online payments
- Clients pay by bank transfer or UPI, and the studio records the payment.
- A third-party e-sign provider
- For a new booking the client signs on paper and the studio records it. Where a client signs on the portal, Centra records who signed, when, and a fingerprint of the exact document. The drawn signature itself is not kept. A certificate lists every signature on the agreement.
- A phone app from an app store
- There is no Android or iPhone app yet. The Crew and Leadership apps are built for a phone and run in its browser.
- Signing up on your own
- There is no sign-up form. We set up each studio ourselves.
- Your own domain
- Designed, and not built yet. How it is meant to work
Access is by invitation for now
There is no sign-up form yet: Centra sets up each studio by hand and invites its owner directly. There is no public contact address yet. If your studio is already on Centra, open it from here.
